There are many misunderstandings about cannabis, weed and hemp. Cannabis is an umbrella term for several types of plants including: weed, hemp and hops (which is found in beer). Weed is the female plant and contains, among other things, the psychoactive substance THC, which induces a ‘euphoric’ feeling. However, ‘hemp’ is the male plant and it contains no THC and therefore no high/stoned/euphoric feeling!
These patches are made from hemp extract and contain several types of cannabinoids that work on the human endocannbinoid system (ECS). The hemp plant is one of the few plants that contains high concentrations of cannabinoids, which is why it is used to extract CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN and others.
Endocannabinoid system (ECS)
The human body has a very extensive endocannabinoid system. This is an important biological system and every human also produces cannabinoids on their own. These activate the cannabinoid receptors (CB receptors) in the body. The endocannabinoid system is still under investigation, but may be involved in regulating physiological and cognitive processes, including fertility, pregnancy, pre- and postnatal development, various immune system activities, appetite, pain sensation, mood and memory. Cannabinoids have a wide range of properties and act on specific receptors found throughout the body, but especially in the brain and immune system. This is called the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and every human possesses it. Every person also produces small amounts of cannabinoids themselves, so it is a substance that is endogenous to the body.
THESE PATCHES WORK FOR, AMONG OTHER THINGS:
- Menopause; hot flushes and sweating

DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE: oral versus patches
Research shows that oral products (in the form of tablets, capsules, etc.) have low bioavailability (absorption by the body). This is due to the so-called first-pass effect. When digested by the stomach, the stomach wall and kidneys (among others), the substances are broken down by the stomach and take up to 2 hours. And only 20-30% enters the bloodstream, and the resulting percentage is only 6%! Patches release substances through the skin within 10 minutes and enter the bloodstream directly. After all, there is no digestion process. This increases the absorption capacity to ± 65%.
We can therefore say that these patches (due to their 15x higher effectiveness) are 15x cheaper than oil!

WHEN SHOULD I APPLY THE PATCH?
It depends on your complaint. You can apply the patch in the morning, for example, after showering and/or in the evening before going to bed. It is wise to vary the spot in some cases people get some degree of skin irritation.
WHERE SHOULD I APPLY THE PLASTER?
It is best to stick the plaster on a painful spot and otherwise on a pleasant spot, for example on the hip. If your skin is a bit oily, we recommend cleaning the patch before applying. This will make the plaster stick better.
SIDE EFFECTS
If you have a high sensitivity (notice a strong reaction), the dose is too high and you should stop or you can divide the plaster in two or cut it into quarters. This way you can reduce the dose.
REACTION ON THE SKIN
In some cases, users experience an allergic reaction on the skin (skin irritation). In this case, stick the plaster in another place or stop using it.
COMBINATION WITH MEDICINES
Natural ingredients may potentiate or block certain medicines or some drugs. If you are taking medication, consult a doctor.
NOTE: You must use the plasters every day for at least 14 days to draw a conclusion! You can also apply 2 or 3 patches to see if a higher dose works better for you. This differs from person to person.
